Gurlal Sohal, OD is a dedicated optometrist with a passion for delivering exceptional eye care to his patients. Dr. Sohal started his academic journey at Brock University in St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada. There, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in June 2017. Eager to continue his education, Dr. Sohal pursued his Doctor of Optometry at New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated in May 2021.

Dr. Sohal's commitment to excellence and patient-centered care led to serve as an Optometrist from September 2021 to June 2022 at  National Vision Centers across Los Angeles. There, he provided eye care services to patients of all ages.

Currently, Dr. Sohal is a valued member of Clinicas del Camino Real, Incorporated, where he has been serving as an Optometrist since July 2022. In this role, he conducts comprehensive, medical, and contact lens exams with precision, effectively communicates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and actively participates in quality assurance meetings to uphold the highest standards of care.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Sohal enjoys a fulfilling personal life centered around spending quality time with friends and family. He finds joy in listening to music, exploring the outdoors through hiking and staying active by playing golf and basketball. Dr. Sohal firmly believes in the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance as the key to a happy and fulfilling life. His commitment to both his professional and personal pursuits reflects his dedication to overall well-being and happiness.
